Year Built: 1860 Builder: J Messervy Where Built: Jersey Owner: C Y Farrant, Jersey Crew: 4(4) Date of Loss Qualifier: A Stranded, total loss. (2) On the 14-NOV-1909 the Jersey ketch MORNING STAR with copper ore loaded at Calstock on the Tamar and stranded on Broad Bench and became a wreck, no lives were lost. (3) MORNING STAR, lost Broadbench, 2.5 miles west of Kimmeridge. (4) Additional source: LR 1907 8 No 798(M)
