Full Description

`Plymouth December 12th: The RACHAEL, John Whitfield master, a small sloop belonging to Torbay, on Saturday night last ran on shore on the Hook Sands near the mouth of this harbour where she soon bilged and sank. (3) `The RACHEL, Whitfield, of Torbay, got on the Hook Sand near Pool Harbour, and sunk; if the weather is moderate, its hoped she may be got up. (4) Source (2) expresses the port of registration as Torquay.
