Full Description
Stranded/Total Loss (3) `The PLACENTIA, Warne, is on shore at the entrance of Poole Harbour, and it is feared will be lost. (2) Source (3) gives the name of the vessel as PLACENTEAR. Master: Warne Date of Loss Qualifier: R
The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
