`Poole, 14th Nov. The ALERT, of this port, sailed hence 12th instant for Hamburg, and was run down and sunk the same night by the ADDISON, from St. Petersburg to Gloucester. Crew saved by the latter, and landed here. (1) Date of Loss Qualifier: A
