Full Description

Stranded/Total Loss (3) `The FAME, Bishop, from Pool to N.foundland, got ashore going out of the harbour, and bilged. (4) `The FAME, Bishop, from Pool to Newfoundland, that got on shore going out of the harbour, has received so much damage, that its feared she will not be got off; the greatest part of the cargo is saved. (5) Source (3) expresses the date of loss as the month of MAR-1788.
