Full Description

The BRAEDALE sank in heavy weather around 1924. Survivors came ashore on Isle of Wight. Possibly of British origin. Surveying History: 06-APR-1990: Wreck, possibly of the BRAEDALE, located using decca in 50 33 24N, 01 45 19W. Coaster of about 800 gross tonnage lying on starboard side and orientated 130/310 degrees with bow NW. Port side and keel substantially complete. Engine aft configuration and no mid-ships accommodation. Lies almost completely within its own scour projecting probably only 2 m above surrounding seabed. 23 JAN 1992: Small wreck located in 50 33 23 5N 01 45 20 5W (1) Position 50 33.37N 1 45.41W taken from (3)
