Full Description
Discontinuous lines (2) of limestone blocks running ENE - WSW across the northern half of the easement. Partially overgrown. Consisted of dressed blocks set vertically. Several wooden planks were also observed in association with these blocks. A spread of clay was observed across most of the southern section. Trial pits excavated around these settings demonstrated them to be deeply set. The settings were interpreted as being associated with the settling and gathering of clay. (A former mineral railway existed nearby)
