Excavations at 5 South Street revealed short length of wall, built of limestone, and sub-soil horizons containing pottery of thirteenth-century date. (1) Short length of limestone wall comprising two courses of stonework, unmortared. Top of the wall located 0.32m below present ground surface. No dating evidence recovered (2)
