Two gold armlets exhibited by Miss Dansey and weighing about 3oz and 1oz respectively, were found on the Chesil Beach near Portland. The larger one is plain except for a very little lattice ornamentation work near each end and was pronounced by the British Museum to be early British work. <1>
No further information was obtained during field investigation either as to the site or the present whereabouts of the finds. <2>
