Full Description

Post-medieval Field Banks dividing closes called Puddletons, Chideock. (1) Boundaries of post-medieval plots comprise earthen banks c. 0.5m high. Two have a ditch on the west side whilst a third is ditched on the east. Each plot contains fairly parallel terracettes which might indicate remains of ploughing. No traces of cultivation ridges detected on shallow soil within the plots except in open area SY42479160 (2)
