Summary
A late Bronze Age leaf-shaped sword and spearhead in the Ashmolean Museum. Said to have been found in 1818 near Weymouth. The exact find spot cannot be identified.

Full Description
A leaf shaped sword with central slot in the hilt found near Weymouth together with a leaf shaped spearhead. In Evans' collection. Length of sword 24 5/8"; hilt flanged. Pommel end of hilt missing. The sword has a central slot and was originally 26" long. <1>
Found in 1818 and now in the ASHMOLEAN MUSEUM. <2>
No further information regarding these finds was obtained during field investigation. <3>
