Summary
House built in the early part of the seventeenth century; the residence of Admiral Sir John Brown and also of Sir James Thornhill. It later became an hotel. The front of the building was rebuilt in the nineteenth century.

Full Description
The White Hart Hotel, Lower Bond Street. Early Mid-C 17 house, east main front rebuilt early-mid C 19. the house was the residence of Admiral Sir John Brown, the Silk Admiral and also of Sir James Thornhill. <1-2>
