Section of stone wall and disturbed ground. Four sherds of post-medieval pottery found at site, all later than 18th century and the product of the Verwood industry

Full Description

Stone wall 0.7m from the north-eastern corner of Stair Cottage and abutted by the concrete foundation of the latter. Constructed from uncoursed, mortared limestone rubble, 0.8m wide with a max depth of 1.1m. Stone appears to have been robbed leaving only part of a wall foundation in situ. Probably of 18th or 19th century date.
