Full Description
A stone plinth measuring 7 ft by 4ft, and 6 inches thick, was tooled in a similar way to the two sarcophagi uncovered in the same cemetery in 1852. It may have been intended to take a sarcophagus. It consisted of four pieces of stone of unequal size with a semi-circular channel running around its edge. It was laid in clay or some kind of cement. (1)
