Full Description

Rifle range shown on the Ordnance Survey map of 1885 [1]. Not present on later editions. The rifle range ran along the edge of Monmouth Beach, seaward of the cement works tramway. The target was to the west and 100, 200, and 300 yard positions are marked on the Ordnance Survey map.
