Full Description
Six Roman coins of AD 250-258 found in Inmosthay, Portland in 1896 by FJ Barnes. <1>
The coins could not be deciphered. The area of Inmosthay has been quarried out. There were no surface finds and no trace of antiquity. <2>
A hoard of eleven 3rd century radiate coins, in Portland Museum, came from the east end of lawn 612 in Inmosthay Quarries, SY 69007216, in 1896. <3>
