A ferry route from Chesil Beach to Langton Hive Point marked on the first edition OS map (1) Also marked on the second edition map (2) Marked on chart of 1787 as a Passage for Punts (3). A 1970 AP suggests that the crossing formerly comprised a causeway - now submerged. (4)
