Full Description

Old quarry marked on the first edition OS map (1). Also marked on the second edition OS map (2). This quarry is still visible as an earthwork at this location on lidar imagery (3) and was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is considered likely to be of post medieval date. A lime kiln is also marked on the first edition OS map at this location (MWX3949) and is likely to be contemporary with the quarry.
