Full Description
A rifle range marked on the first edition of the OS map (1), also marked on the second edition map (2). The rifle range has a point marked for the target, and leading away from the target the distance is noted in one hundred yard increments up to 500 yards.
Features considered likely to be associated with this rifle range are visible on aerial photographs (3-4) and were plotted as part of the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment (Dorset). See records MWX4418 & MDO29374.
