Old quarries marked on the first edition OS map (1) Also marked on the second edition (2) A quarry is visible as an earthwork in the area described above in (1-2) on recent lidar imagery to the west of Durlston Country Park, Swanage. The quarry is located on limestone and measures 35 m by 20 m. (3-4) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
