An old gravel pit to the north west of King Barrow, marked on the first edition OS map. The probable post medieval pit is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of the 1940s.

Full Description

A gravel pit marked on the first edition OS map (1) Also marked on the second edition map (2) The probable post medieval gravel pit is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The pit is sub-oval in shape and measures 24 m by 14 m. (4-5) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
