Full Description

A landing stage marked on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map epoch 1 at the end of Sandbanks, adjacent to the Haven Hotel. (1) It is also shown on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map epoch 2, but only the seaward end appears to survive - has the rest been buried beneath beach sands? (2). It is not marked on the later Ordnance Survey maps.
