Full Description
The large modern parish of Arne covers some 6500 acres, excluding extensive intertidal mud flats, lies to the south side of Poole Harbour and extends to the south and west of Wareham. The present parish is a late nineteenth century grouping of the medieval parish of Arne with that part of Wareham Holy Trinity parish outside the town and part of Wareham Lady St. Mary parish.
