Summary
Romano British burials. A stone cist containing a beaker and a bowl of probable 2nd century date was found in 1868 in Withies Croft Quarries. In 1879 a grave with a skeleton and two jars was found in the Maggot Quarries.

Full Description
A stone cist found in 1868 in Withies Croft Quarries contained a coarse ware beaker and bowl, probably 2nd century, and in 1879 a grave with a skeleton and two jars was discovered in the Maggot Quarries SY 691726.
