Summary

A magazine lying immediately south of a rifle range on Ham Common, and probably associated with it, is known from map evidence. It had been demolished by the mid 1930s.

Full Description

A magazine is marked on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map epoch 1. (1) It lies immediately south of a rifle range and is undoubtedly associated with it. The small rectangular building is still shown on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch maps epoch 2 and 3, but not marked as a magazine. (2) (3) The building is not shown on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map epoch 4. (4)
