Full Description

A timber yard first depicted on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch epoch 1 map, serviced by a tramway from the Hamworthy railway branch line. (1) The evolution of the buildings on the site can be traced on the epoch 2-4 maps. (2) (3) (4) The tramway was removed post-war. The site continues to be used as a timber yard.
