Full Description
Two iron ingots were discovered by a local antiquarian in a neighbours house at SY 691 706, being used as doorstops. They are distinctive enough to be identified as spitzbarren types used on the Continent during the Iron Age. Now in the Portland Museum, they are unique in Britain. <1>
