A brick works marked on the second edition of the OS map (1).
Extractive earthworks, a brick kiln (MWX4456) and a clay pit (MDO7715) associated with a post medieval to early modern brickworks are visible on aerial photographs of Farm Heath, East Stoke (2-4). These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. Some of these earthwork features are still visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
