Lulworth Stone Pier, located on the west side of the Cove, noted on a mid-eighteenth century print . (1)
A pier is visible as a stone structure on aerial photographs of the western side of Lulworth Cove (2). It is considered likely to be of post medieval date. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is still visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
