Full Description
Site of station with two platforms built on a curve in 1904 to serve the newly opened continuation of the line to Easton. It replaced the original 1865 Portland station terminus. First shown on 1926-7 map. Closed to passengers in 1952. Published photographs show the station under construction, after an air raid in 1940, and the remains with a footbridge in 1957. <1>
