Full Description

A mole structure, visible on an AP from the 1940s (1) The mole described above in (1) was visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1947 in Poole Harbour. The mole is formed of a curving wall measuring approximately 230 m in length and 3 m in width. The mole has now been replaced by pontoons at Dolphin Haven. This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). (2)
