Camouflaged radar enclosure, part of the Hengistbury Head Chain Home radar station, visible on a 1947 aerial photograph. (1-2)
The site is formed of a circular mound, measuring 27 m in diameter, camouflaging a structure, possibly an air raid shelter or other ancillary building associated with the Chain Home radar station. Four small buildings are located around the mound. (3) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
