Standby Set House for the Southbourne Chain Home Radar station. (1-2)
The site described above in (1-2) is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1947. The site is formed of a circular mound, measuring 31 m in diameter, camouflaging a structure within a sub-rectangular barbed wire enclosure measuring 85 m by 115 m. (3) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
