Full Description

The Battleship H.M.S. Ramillies collided with the Portland Breakwater in January 1924. (1) Launched in 1916, the Ramillies was not completed until 1917 and commissioned in May of that year when she joined the 1st Battle Squadron of the Grand Fleet. In the Second World War, she took part in the chase of the Bismarck. She was broken up in 1948. (2)
