Full Description

A special service Warship which caught fire and exploded in 1918 in Lyme Bay. Not in Kemp, P. 1999 British Warship Losses of the 20th Century. Owned by the Royal Navy. A War Grave. (1) The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
