A Royal Navy landing craft that sank 4 miles off Weymouth Pier between 1940 and 1944, a war grave, lying on sandy gravel. May be identical with Landing Craft B i and D. (1) One of a group of landing craft records within an area 200m x 200m. May all refer to same wreck. Landing craft (British) pref ref 0931, Landing craft ‘Bi’ pref ref 1215, Landing craft ‘D’ pref ref 1218 Position 50 35 38 N 2 20 24 W taken from (2)
