Summary

Two Bronze Age bowl barrows. These are recorded as being 15 metres wide and 1.8 metres high , and 13 metres wide and 1.5 metres high respectively. Both have former excavation trenches across their centres, and neither has a surviving ditch.

(A - SY 77918102; B - SY 77938102) Tumuli (NR) (1) A - SY 77918102. Bowl barrow, 45ft. diameter by 51/2. high with excavation trench across centre. B - SY 77938102. Bowl barrow, 39ft. diameter by 4 1/2ft. high with excavation trench across centre. (2,3) A - SY 77918102. Bowl barrow, not ploughed. Diameter 15.0m., height 1.8m. No visible ditch. B -SY 77938102. Bowl barrow, not ploughed. Diameter 13.0m., height 1.5m. No visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. (4)
