Full Description

Tumuli (NR) (Three shown) (1) Three round barrows south-east of Hill Barn: (2) A - SY 77558114. Bowl barrow, 35ft diameter by 9ins high and almost ploughed out. B - SY 77578119. Bowl barrow, 54ft diameter by 2.25ft high. C - SY 77608115. Bowl barrow, 54ft diameter by 2.75ft high. (3) `A - No visible remains - ploughed out. B - SY 77578119. Barrow, in arable diameter 18.0m, approximately, height 0.7m, with no visible ditch. 'C' - SY 77608115. Barrow, in arable, diameter 20.0m, approximately, height 1.1m. No visible ditch. Both 'B' and 'C' have been ploughed over. 'B' and 'C' Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. (4)
