Summary
A possible quernstone with central perforation found west of Warren Wood near Studland Bay. The form of the central perforation is typical of an upper stone but the slope of the grinding surface would suggest that it was reused as a lower stone.

Full Description
SZ 04128215. A possible quernstone with central perforation expanding into a shallow depression, as in normal upper stones of Iron Age B to Romano-British type querns, was found west of Warren Wood near Studland Bay. The slope of the grinding surface, however, would suggest that it had been reused as a lower stone. In the possession of P. Vine, Manor Farm, Studland. <1>
