A detailed account of the mosaic floors and other discoveries found in the Dorchester Prison burial ground in 1858. The text is very similar to that published in Archaeological Journal vol. 16 (1859).

Manuscript copy by Lawrance of his account of the discovery of the Roman mosaics in the Dorchester prison burial ground, together with a watercolour (badly damaged) of the site and finds. In box file in Dorset County Museum (X131/N2 DP Box D2).
