Abstract/Summary
'An archaeological evaluation at Manor Farm, Pimperne was carried out by AC archaeology during May 2002. The work comprised the machine excavation of six trenches covering a total area of 45m2, which identified a probable medieval ditch and evidence for two brick-built structures as shown on a map of 1923. In addition, a flint foundation for a boundary wall shown on a map of 1814 was also uncovered. The trenching also revealed deep redpeposited soils in some areas, whilst in others extensive modern truncation appears to have taken place.'
