Abstract/Summary

The footings trench was L shaped, on the lines of the north and west walls of the extension. The trench was 1m deep. The top 0.15m comprised a recent surface laid within the memory of the then owner. This surface overlay natural subsoil; a creamy coloured sandy silt. Several finds of recent origin were recovered.
