Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on the site of a proposed building at Canford School in September 1994. The evaluation comprised a 2% evaluation using a mechanical excavator. The exposed topsoil and subsoil deposits contained no displaced artefacts and no features of archaeological origin were present. The results of the investigation indicated that there is only a low to negligible potential for the presence of significant archaeological deposits within the development area.
