Abstract/Summary
Report on observations and recording by Context One Archaeological Services Ltd (COAS) in July and August 2011 during groundworks for an extension and formation of a new play area to the rear of Harper House. Recent archaeological work in the vicinity produced evidence of medieval occupation likely to have extended behind Harper House, but work revealed that the site had been disturbed by landscaping associated with the gardens, and no traces of earlier occupation were seen.
