Abstract/Summary
'An archaeological watching brief was carried out by Terrain Archaeology in October 2007 during the groundworks associated with the erection of a new footbridge at Sandsfoot Castle Gardens, Weymouth, Dorset. The new bridge was built on the existing piers of the former footbridge which crossed the bank and ditch of the 17th century eathwork bastion to Sandsfoot Castle. There was only limited ground disturbance and no features or deposits of archaeological interest were observed.'
