Abstract/Summary
'Terrain Archaeology carried out a programme of observations and recording during Water Main Replacement work at Barnston Crossroad, Church Knowle, Dorset (SY92988143) in January 2007. The topsoil strip of the compound area, which lies adjacent to an area of earthworks at Barnston Farm, was observed but no features or deposits of archaeological significance were found. The replacement water main ran along the road and no observations were required during trenching.'
