SDO15279 - Archeological Assessment for Shottsford Cottage, Nutford, Blandford Forum

Collation and analysis of published archive sources, together with detailed inspection of both the external and internal fabric of the building. The report concludes that the cottage is generally of 18th century date, perhaps of the latter half of that century, and is later than the associated Nutford Farm. Whilst there is some suggestion that the building may have earlier origins , there is no conclusive evidence that the building is earlier than the period given.
