Abstract/Summary

Report on observations and recording by Terrain Archaeology in September and October 2019 during groundworks for installation of 20 new sign posts and information boards. Four of these locations were immediately adjacent to the Dorchester Roman Walls Scheduled Ancient Monument, and observations and recording was a condition of Scheduled Monument Consent. At each location a small trench was dug by hand to a depth of no more than 0.75m deep. Only post-medieval and modern deposits were disturbed.
