Abstract/Summary

’27 Churchill Road (NGR: SZ 04427 92291) is an undesignated house located on the west side of Churchill Road, Upper Parkstone, which probably dates from the 19th century. Damage resulting from water ingress revealed that part of its south elevation was built from cob, and it seems likely that the front range was originally part of a small cob cottage. The building was visited shortly before its demolition, at the request of Sarah Scannell and Sally Lloyd-Jacob of Poole Borough Council’
