Abstract/Summary
This report identifies and analysis of seventeen samples from medieval boat timbers found at the Foundry site. These timbers revealed that oak and elm had been used in the manufacture. Dendrochronological analysis also showed that the timbers from relatively young trees with the results that samples had less than 60 rings. However, no dating was obtained.
